ACCESSIBILITY QUICK CARDS
State of Minnesota law mandates that electronic materials are available and consumable to all people, regardless of disabilities such as blindness, low vision, etc. These quick cards, which have seen wide distribution inside (and outside) of state government, serve as a desk-side reference to employees who may need a reminder of the steps needed to make their documents and presentations accessible. They are branded and color coded in association with popular applications, such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, InDesign, etc. The format was so popular that additional quick card types were later produced containing keyboard shortcuts for Outlook, social media accessibility tips and one that features an introduction to the concept of information accessibility.
The cards are printed on 10 pt card stock and have flush-cut lamination, making them very durable. Perforation allows state employees to secure them to a wall with a T-pin, or collect a set of cards together with a metal ring.
