CAPITOL CODE LOGO
Capitol Code was a hackathon sponsored by the Minnesota Secretary of State – the event offered engaged citizens the opportunity to use public data to develop technology solutions that would benefit our communities. Teams of developers, designers, community leaders and public-sector employees worked together to brainstorm and develop apps and other technology solutions that addressed a variety of civic issues. Projects ranged from tools that would help plan outdoor trips using GIS data provided by the DNR, to a tool that would calculate voter wait time at the polls.
I developed the event logo that was used in all of the hackathon’s marketing collateral, including website, signage, t-shirts, etc.
